Hareline’s Ice Dub Shimmer Fringe is a special blend of Ice Dub fibers and Angel Hair that have been fused together at one end to form 3-1/2″ wide strips. Separately, these two fly tying materials can be hard to manage when loose, so the brilliant folks at Hareline created these strips for ease of use and less mess at the fly tying bench. Use Ice Dub Shimmer Fringe for winging and fly bodies. Simply cut off a piece, tie it on your fly, add some eyes, and you’ve got a killer baitfish imitation that’s ready to fish. Great for both freshwater & saltwater applications and we especially love them on our salmon and steelhead flies. Ice Dub Shimmer Fringe comes in 3 strips per pack and is available in 12 fish-attracting colors!
